After the safari, we’ll continue our drive toward Cape Town, where you’ll settle into your accommodation. Whether you’re staying in the city center or closer to the coast, you’ll have time to relax and enjoy the evening, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of Cape Town before the next part of your journey begins.
Highlights/activities
Today, we start with a visit to the famous Table Mountain. You’ll take the cable car to the top, where you’ll be greeted by breathtaking views of Cape Town, the sparkling coastline, and the mountains that surround the city. It’s a chance to take it all in whether you’re walking along the flat top, snapping photos, or simply enjoying the incredible landscape.
After soaking in the views, we’ll head out to the Cape Winelands for a day of wine tasting. Our first stop will be one of the area’s renowned wine estates, where you can enjoy a tasting of their finest wines. As you sip, you’ll hear about the history of winemaking in this region and what makes the local wines so special.
Next, we’ll visit another beautiful wine farm, where you’ll take a stroll through the vineyards and get a closer look at the winemaking process. Of course, there’ll be more wine to taste, each with its own unique flavour and character.
We’ll finish the day at a third winery, where you can relax and enjoy your final tasting, taking in the serene views of the vineyards stretching out before you. It’s a perfect way to spend the day with good wine, stunning scenery, and plenty of stories to share.
We’ll start the day with a drive along Chapman’s Peak, one of the most scenic roads in the world. The cliffs rise up on one side, the ocean stretches out on the other, and around every bend there’s a view that’ll make you want to stop and take a photo. It’s a spectacular way to kick off the adventure.
Next, we make our way to the Cape of Good Hope — wild, rugged, and full of natural beauty. The walking paths and open landscapes offer some great spots to explore and, if we’re lucky, we might spot baboons, antelope, or a few interesting birds along the way.
Then it’s on to Boulders Beach, home to a colony of African penguins. These little guys are always a hit — waddling around the sand or splashing in the waves. You’ll be able to see them up close, and the beach itself is just as charming with its big smooth boulders and clear water.
After that, we stop in Simon’s Town, a lovely seaside village with a rich naval history and a peaceful harbour. It’s a great place to stretch your legs, enjoy a coffee, and take in the slower pace of coastal life.
Next, we visit Kalk Bay, a colourful, artistic fishing village with loads of character. The streets are lined with little shops, cafés, and galleries — perfect for a relaxed wander.
We end the day at Muizenberg, famous for its long beach, surf culture, and vibrant beach huts. Whether you want to take a walk, watch the surfers, or just enjoy the vibe, it’s a great spot to wind down before heading home.
