4 Day Flower Tour
Our 4-day flower tour is designed to show you the best of the West Coast. You will be transported in one of our luxury vehicles to Guest House in Clanwilliam which will be home base for the first night. Accommodation includes dinner, bed and breakfast.
08h00-09h00; Bright & early, we will collect you from your hotel and make our way on the N7 towards Clanwilliam. Our first stop will be a local farm stall where you can stock up on lovely citrus fruits and other deli snacks. We then make our way to Clanwilliam and visit the Ramskop Wildflower Garden for a picnic lunch and a walk through their beautiful gardens.
Later that afternoon, you will have the chance to experience a Rooibos tea tasting. We then head off to your accommodation in Clanwilliam for your first overnight stay. You will enjoy a local braai dinner at your accommodation.
After a lovely breakfast, we will make our way and visit Nieuwoudtville, nicknamed the bulb capital of the world. Our first stop will be to see the Kookerboom, also known as the Quiver tree – these are part of the aloe family. We will also explore the Nieuwoudville Waterfalls to end off the day. We then head off to your accommodation in Nieuwoudville, where you will overnight for the next 2 nights and have dinner at your accommodation as well.
After a leisurely breakfast, we will explore the Hantam Botanical Garden which also boasts a magnificent display of bulbs in the flower season. Enjoy a packed picnic lunch at the farm and thereafter you will have the opportunity to explore farm life at Papkuilsfontein. Enjoy a tour of the farm with Willem van Wyk who will take you on a personalized tour of the area exploring rock art, flowers in season, birds, waterfalls, and much more! The rest of the day can be spent at leisure at the farm to explore more flowers, hiking, and even mountain biking routes – there are quite a few!
On our fourth and final day of our flower tour we will depart for your accommodation in Cape Town. On route we will make a stop at the beautiful West Coast National Park where you will enjoy a scrumptious packed lunch after exploring the unique flora and fauna on offer in this pristine national park.

Nathan told us a lot about the South-African culture and habits and fun facts about Cape Town and its surroundings.
We drove via Camps Bay to Chapman’s Peak and visited among others Cape of Good Hope, Cape point, Boulders Beach and Muizenberg.
