West Coast National Park Flower Viewing

Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Cape Town to West Coast National Park, one of South Africa’s premier wildflower destinations. During the short spring flowering season, the park comes alive with vibrant carpets of colourful blooms stretching across the landscape.

The combination of colourful flowers, rolling fields and views over the Langebaan Lagoon makes this one of the most photographed natural attractions in the Western Cape. Every year, visitors from around the world travel here to witness this remarkable seasonal spectacle.

Olive & Wine Experience at Darling Olives

After exploring the flowers, continue to Darling Olives, located along the picturesque Darling Wine & Olive Route.

Enjoy a guided olive tasting paired with local wines while learning about the region’s olive production. You’ll also have time to browse a selection of handmade olive products, skincare items and locally produced gifts.

Please note: Darling Olives is closed on Sundays. A suitable alternative experience will be included for Sunday departures.

Best Time to Visit

The Cape West Coast Flower Tour operates only during August and September, when the wildflowers are at their peak. Flower displays vary depending on rainfall and weather conditions, making every season unique.

As this is a limited seasonal experience, early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
